Teresa has been teaching dance and acting to children and adults for 25 years. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from UC Santa Barbara she enjoyed a career in dance and acting in Los Angeles. She performed in various commercials (Bud Light, McDonalds, Gillette), acted in a full length independent feature film, and performed in Equity Theater productions. She also toured Japan, worked as an entertainer on Norwegian Cruise Lines and did a show in Las Vegas. She choreographed Warner Bros. animated full length feature, Scarecrow and won a Los Angeles Critics Circle Nomination for Best Choreographer for 1940’s Radio Hour at the Crossley Theatre, Hollywood. She was also a Theatre LA Ovation Award Nominee for Best Choreographer for Into the Woods. In Los Angeles she taught dance to pre-school age children at over fourteen different schools. She developed a program called Baby Dance for young children ages 1-6 and made a DVD which sold over 80,000 copies. In 2006 she began teaching at Bear Valley Dance Studio which later became Moonridge School of Dance. She loves sharing the joy of dance and excitement of acting with all ages.
